Notice is hereby given the Sublimity Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at Sublimity City Hall, 245 NW Johnson to consider the application of Richard Heuberger and Raymond Heuberger for a finding of similar use to allow the use of a metal roof on a single family home when such roofing material is only allowed when approved by the Planning Commission. 
The Commission will receive oral testimony during the hearing. Written testimony can be submitted at City Hall at any time until the close of the hearing.
Section 3.108.04 - A similar use may be authorized provided that the applicant demonstrates that the proposed use satisfies the following criteria
A. The use is consistent with the purpose of the underlying zoning district and is similar in character, scale and performance to permitted uses specified in the underlying district.
B. The use conforms with the applicable standards and limitations of the underlying zoning district.
The City of Sublimity will make reasonable accommodations for a person with a disability wishing to participate in this hearing. Please inform the City at least 48 hours before the hearing.

The applicable criteria the Commission will use in making its decision are found in Section 3.102 of the Sublimity Development Code. Copies are available at City Hall.
