The city of Sublimity is served by the Sublimity Rural Fire Protection District. This is a volunteer department with two fire stations--a new station built in 1989 on Parker Street and another station outside town on Drift Creek Road.
Police
Sublimity contracts with the Stayton Police Department for police services. Prior to contracting with Stayton the city used the Marion County Sheriffs Department for services.
Sewer
Sublimity also contracts with the City of Stayton for sewer treatment and disposal. In 1975 Sublimity constructed its own sewage collection system.
Water
The Sublimity water system consists of four wells which serve the city. The water is fluoridated.
Parks
Currently the city has two parks. One is adjacent to city hall and has a new tennis court, baseball diamond, picnic shelter, horseshoe pits, and playground equipment. The other park on East Main Street has a picnic shelter, jogging trail, barbecues, and playground equipment. This park is in a beautiful wooded setting and is about six acres in size.
